This month's journaling prompt comes more in the shape of an article I wanted to pass along.
I follow Wyldwood Creative, a quilting and fabric store, based in Renton WA that strives to build community through creating. They offer lovely fabrics and other sewing notions, as well as classes and community building events. If you want to check them out, here is the link to their site.
But as I was saying, I follow along with their newsletter and they shared this wonderful article, When It’s Time to Take a Break from Sewing: A Creative Recharge, filled with tips and tricks to try when you inevitably hit that infamous"creativity block". While the advice shared stems from the lens of sewing and quilting, I think it is still very applicable to any creative, art-creating endeavor! Hopefully you find it as encouraging and inspiring as I did.
